Pin Transcriptions

Keep important transcripts within easy reach! The new pinning feature lets you anchor important transcriptions to the top of your history list. You can pin transcriptions via context menu or with a swipe gesture. Perfect for frequently accessed transcripts and Work in progress.

Always on Top

Need to keep QuickWhisper visible while working with other applications? The new "Always on Top" setting lets you pin the window above other windows, making it perfect for quick access while multitasking and real-time monitoring of the progress.

Streamlined Deletion Process

We've heard your feedback about confirmation dialogues! Now you can choose to disable deletion confirmations, making cleanup faster.

Flash Attention - Experimental Speed Boost

For our power users, we've Flash Attention support for Whisper models - an experimental feature that can increase transcription speed in certain scenarios. Find it in the Advanced Settings, but note that while it may boost performance, it could affect transcription quality.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

• Fixed crashes on macOS 15.4 on opening "Mix and Transcribe" and "Recording" modes.

• Fixed “Find & Replace” to work with more than one word, making bulk replacements more precise.

• Preventing Mac from entering Sleep mode while transcription is in progress which protects from crashes for large transcription jobs.
