QuickWhisper can send your transcriptions directly into your Obsidian Vault, so every recording you make is automatically saved as a note. This integration relies on the obsidian-local-rest-api Community plugin
Setting Up the Connection
Download obsidian-local-rest-api plugin
Unzip and move it to Obsidian’s plugins directory (
~/Documents/Obsidian Vault/.obsidian/plugins)Open Obsidian. Go to Setting → Community Plugins → Local REST API. Switch toggle next to Local REST API.

Click on the gear icon to open plugin’s settings page.
In the settings page, scroll down to Settings and toggle “Enable Non-encrypted (HTTP) Server“

Now scroll up. Copy API key.

In QuickWhisper, go to Setting → Integrations → Add Obsidian

Paste the API key you just copied, and enable the integration. You'll also can select a directory within your Obsidian vault where transcriptions should be saved.

Finally in Settings → Integrations toggle “Automatically send after finished transcription“

From this point forward, every transcription you create in QuickWhisper will automatically appear as a new note in the directory you selected inside your Obsidian vault. There's nothing else you need to do - just record, transcribe, and find your notes waiting for you in Obsidian.
